Over 1,000 young lives are lost each year on our roads,that's three young drivers who do not return home to their families each evening. You stand more chance of being involved in a crash during your first year on the road then at any other time in the next fifty years. These are just some of the scary statistics that confront new drivers. Workshops have been designed to reduce the apalling young driver casualty figures here in Somerset. The Workshop is open to those who are currently taking driving lessons or who have recently passed their driving test (within the last 12 months).
The Workshops are completely FREE of charge and those candidates who go on to take the pass plus course after passing their driving tests will receive a grant towards the cost of £60.00 from Somerset Road Safety Partnership.
