It's a fact! There are now more cars on the roads than ever before. And the numbers are increasing. So are the numbers of people who need to learn to drive them. With driving regulations becoming ever more complicated and driving tests more complex and difficult to pass, there is a continuous demand for qualified driving instructors and the role is becoming more varied.
This demand could present you with the opportunity to begin a new career as an ADI, (Approved Driving Instructor), and to start your own business or work on a franchise basis for an established driving school.
Driving instruction is not only financially rewarding, it offers a number of employment options. Whether it be in full or part-time employment, self-employment or as a franchise holder, working as an ADI provides independence, flexible working hours and above all, a degree of security that most other careers cannot offer. It also provides job satisfaction particularly after your pupils pass their driving test due largely to your ability as an instructor.
If you are becomimg self employed for the first time, you will find it a totally different enviroment to what you are used to.
Being your own boss can be a rewarding experience,to keep the money that you earn through your hard work (and to take days off and holidays when ever you decide with out having to consult with work colleagues is a major benefit).Days off and holidays still need to planned in advance.
You may feel as though you would like to work some evenings or weekends and have a day(s) off in the week, you choose the hours and days that you would like to work. The down side is no sick or holiday pay.
We will give you help and advice to get you started in your new career.
